Directional drilling is a trenchless method used in construction to install underground utilities such as electrical lines, gas lines, water and sewer lines etc.. This process involves accurately drilling a horizontal bore path beneath the ground to a desired target, using electronic guidance. From this point special tools are attached, which are used to pull back the utilities through the initial bore hole to the desired location. Installation is completed without the need for open-cut excavation providing zero to minimum surface disturbance protecting landscapes.
Our team at Rod's Trenching & Excavating take pride in our ability to install your underground utilities beneath roadways, asphalt parking lots, concrete driveways, buildings and costly landscapes.
